Solutions Architect

Hardware & software design
In my hardware and software design work, my primary goal is to achieve the optimal solution that fully meets the client's needs. To achieve this, I follow a structured and methodological process, which is articulated in the following phases:
- Data Collection, On-Site Surveys, and Analysis: The starting point of every project is an in-depth analysis phase. This includes detailed gathering of client requirements, studying the operational context, and identifying the problems to be solved. This phase may involve on-site visits to the client's premises to assess existing infrastructure, business processes, and specific environmental needs.
- Preliminary Design: Based on the collected data, I define the general guidelines for the solution. This involves identifying the most suitable hardware and software technologies, system architectures, user interfaces, and necessary interconnections. In this phase, technical, economic, and time-related aspects are evaluated, providing the client with an initial vision of the proposed solution.
- Executive (Detailed) Design: The preliminary design is translated into a detailed and comprehensive plan. This includes defining technical specifications, creating electrical schematics and functional blocks (for hardware design), defining communication protocols, designing the PCB layout, writing software code, and planning the testing and implementation phases.
- Works Supervision on Fixed and Mobile Sites (Project Management): I oversee and coordinate the installation and implementation activities of the solution, both in fixed environments (e.g., data centers) and mobile environments (e.g., installation of embedded systems on vehicles). I ensure adherence to design specifications, timelines, and budget.
- System Verifications and Field Measurements: I perform functional and performance tests on the implemented solution, verifying compliance with design specifications and proper integration with the operational environment. This may include measurements of electrical parameters, signal quality checks, load and stress tests, and security analysis.
- Return on Investment (ROI) Estimates: I provide the client with an economic assessment of the solution, quantifying the expected benefits (e.g., increased efficiency, cost reduction, improved security) and comparing them with development, implementation, and maintenance costs.
Fields of Application for my Hardware and Software Design Services include:
- Telematic Networks: Design of network architectures, configuration of network devices (routers, switches, firewalls), implementation of communication protocols, and connectivity solutions (LAN, WAN, wireless).
- Computing and/or Data Processing Centers: Design and implementation of data centers, distributed processing systems, virtualization systems, and cloud computing.
- Development of Distributed and Heterogeneous Application Programs: Design and development of software that runs on multiple devices and platforms, integrating different technologies and interfaces.
All technical documents, collected data, and project-related information are treated with the utmost confidentiality, in compliance with the client's specific requests and data protection regulations.
